Wedge Rain Boots to Step Up Your Rainy Day Style! (thefind Guest Post)
From our friends at thefind.com:
Waking up to the sound of an unexpected spring downpour doesn’t necessarily have to mean that you’re day’s outfit is totally hopeless. Kick your clunky galoshes to the curb and invest in a rather stylish wedge rain boot, and you may find yourself jumping for joy the next time rainy weather drops in for a visit. Hunter has several elevated styles, but my favorite is definitely the Andora wedge with its slight platform sole and strappy buckle embellishment. If you’re all about color, these lace-up ‘Rain Check’ boots by Dirty Laundry make a serious statement with their lace-up detail and bright colors like fuchsia (shown above). Embrace a sexy print with these python-patterned boots from Charlotte Russe (they’re bargain-friendly, too!), or if you’d prefer a heightened take on a more classic style, these Loeffler Randall Matilde Boots have just the slightest wedge for a baby step in a more stylish direction!

Loeffler Randall Collection for Spring 2012
Shoe designer Jessie Randall is super enthusiastic for the Loeffler Randall Spring ’12 collection, available NOW at LoefflerRandall.com. With interesting materials like neoprene and chunky woven straw, and even more joyous neon colors, your feet will be screaming for attention. Patterned options, as Jessie Randall said herself, are “perfect for any outfit – almost like a new modern neutral.” For those of you who are more gallant with fashion, go ahead and mix prints as well!
We can’t help but admire the awesome inspiration for the collection: action/sports shoes meet the challenge of femininity. A rather interesting fashion paradox creates amazing sandals, platforms, pumps, and even an undeniably sexy mid heel. And to think, this all started with Fragonard’s painting, “The Swing.”
Our obsession? The CHLOE and CHLOE CV, retailing at $375 and $350 respectively. Comfortable high platform? Check. Perfectly appropriate nudes and prim polka dots? Check Check. Fashion forward… we’ll stop here. The checklist can go on forever.
