As a new season rolls in, it comes as no surprise that essie has a FABULOUS array of hues for winter 2014. Meant to be an ample companion for your holiday parties and events, the six hues skew a bit festive, a bit classic, but all in all, will look shiny and superb on manicure digits. The six shades, from left to right are Tuck it in my Tux, Back in the Limo, Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low, Bump up the Pumps, Double Breasted Jacket, and Jump in My Jumpsuit. All shades will become available in November of 2014, retailing for $8.50 and found at essie.com, fine salons, and beauty destinations nationwide.

A lot of my girlfriends complain that their men use their products, from body wash to moisturizer and even shaving cream! Surely, it’s not out of lack of good products for men that these items are being used, as there are a bunch of great products geared toward men, two of which are featured today, that will leave that shampoo bottle as full as the last time you used it.
The first, Billy Jealousy (pictured above), includes cheeky names and descriptions, such as the Assassin Collection’s Intensive Face Moisturizer, a non-oily formulation that include blockbuster natural ingredients such as walnut seed extract, sandalwood & barley extracts, and avocado oil to smooth, hydrate and even work on the skin’s surface and below to fight lines and wrinkles. Found in easy to dispense jars and bottles, Billy Jealousy will have him covered in the handcream, facial scrub, facial hair washing and styling products, and even a very very cool trio of products (Marked IV Life) to care for your tattoos with a wash, salve, and lotion rich in exfoliants and oils to keep that ink looking pristine.
You’ll find most of these items at Barneys, Nordstrom and www.billyjealousy.com.
The second, newer to the men’s bodycare/grooming scene is Montez Renault, a high-end line of products expected to soon have a cult following, founded by friends Christopher R. Butler (formerly of Butler’s Grooming Club) and NFL linebacker for the Cleveland Browns, Karlos Dansby. This sleek array of men’s products are different fro the rest, as they not only paraben-free, but naturally created by using the highest quality pharmaceutical grade ingredients that also work more quickly and efficiently than others on the market. Addressing concerns common to men’s skincare like irritated, red, bumpy, blotchy skin caused from frequent shaving, active ingredients include inflacin to keep these issues at bay. Priced from $16-$30, these nine premium products will become his new obsession; currently you can purchase the items exclusively through the Spring shopping App.

I LOVE a solid theme, and e.l.f.’s (eyes lips face) latest debut, The Disney Princess Good vs. Evil Collection, features products and hues that are princessly perfect, or darkly daring. These six sets range in price from $4.99-$9.99(four are pictured above), and feature everything from makeup brushes to eye shadows, liner, and nail polishes that fit into the “good” or “evil” mode, and are overall on-trend and a blast to experiment with! It’s a creative way to think about the characters of Princess Aurora and Maleficent, and try out some colors at opposite ends of the spectrum; after all makeup should be fun, fantasy, and practicality wrapped into one!
Shop the collection for a limited time starting October 1st, available only at Walgreen stores and online at Walgreens.com.
