This fall, when you shop beauty products online or in-store at Nordstrom, be on the lookout for it’s new name – Nordstrom Beauty Spot. With the help of of six tastemakers in beauty, fashion and lifestyle, Nordstrom offers how-tos, tutorials, and the latest beauty trends (bordeaux lips, nail art) that you can instantly get inspired from and shop! Per usual, Nordstrom also has a great selection of store exclusives, like the pairing of Deborah Lippmann polishes and a custom bag that matches (pictured above), in addition to endless sampling. I love that Nordstrom strongly encourages to “try before you buy;” at the event I ended up walking away with a handful of sample size fragrances, including a new favorite that I sampled, Balenciaga’s Florabotanica!
I will certainly take a little extra SPF when I can, along with fool proof color for my face! As part of the Vogue Influencer Network, I was able to sample the seven shade powder, Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15,that can brighten, bronze, and give a little extra oomph for a perfect look. Being given No 40, which is about halfway through the color spectrum, I was nervous that it would be WAY to dark, but upon testing, came to discover that in fact it is the most silken, lightweight, sheer texture, previously though to be unimaginable.
It’s safe for sensitive skin, and although it rings in at $57.50, I can understand the palpable difference between a premium versatile product such as Les Beiges, and trying to duplicate all of its key features in a less expensive product. Sometimes, when trying to save money, I’ve discovered that I end up spending even more of my time and resources trying to track down a product for less; this may very well be the case with Les Beiges!
As I learned at the Sedu Diamond Launch hosted by Folica, it’s about time to start expecting more from your hair tools! The Sedu Revolution Diamond Edition Iron holds the power to straighten, curl, and wave the hair without causing damage, yet locking in the look.
