At an exclusive Loehmann’s fall trends event last week, I hand picked this GORGEOUS Steve Madden Kyla Woven Satchel in Stone for you (see the style here)! It retails for $98, but of course Loehmann’s had it at amazing price; let’s just say it was lower than anywhere you can find it online.
If you’re not familiar with Lohmann’s, it is an incredibly-well edited discount department store with designer finds at unbeatable prices. I’ve been shopping at Loehmann’s on 17th street in NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood for about 10 years now, so I’m glad to be able to offer you a great find from the store. I am already a subscriber….In terms of footwear, approximately 10 years ago I purchased a pair of shoes from Coach that were originally over $200.00 dollars. I only paid $60.00!!
I always try to look for bargains, and usally try to snatch one up, or I walk away. One of the best ones as of late that I got was a pair of knee-high slouch boots (I think that’s what they’re caled), for $10. They were originally priced at $100, but due to a sale, and with a coupon that I had, that was my final price. It didn’t hurt to have smaller feet, either!! When I saw the picture of that satchel, I immediately fell in love. What a great accessory!!

Found this chic, grey, body-hugging Calvin Klein sweater dress that I absolutely love that retailed for $119 and paid $29.99 at Marshall’s. I paired it with black lace stockings and black high heeled boots and clutch for a night out.

i honestly don’t think i’ve ever got a great deal on a designer item, i don’t buy many designer items as it is though.

I got a pair of Steve Madden wedges that were markd down to $25 that were originally $90 at an end of summer sale.
A few seasons back I had my eye on an Elevenses silk coat for sale at $250. Not sure why, but I had a great stroke of luck and within a few weeks it was marked down to $9.97! Love it to this day!
My best deal was getting a pair of $350 Elie Tahari Sandals for only $20 at Goodwill. I love thrift shopping in Manhatten!
