It’s a shame to let cool socks be concealed, especially when they have so much potential to take your outfit to the next level. After recently receiving some incredible knee socks courtesy of Sock it to Me, without a doubt, I knew they were destined for the rink. More specifically, they would make their debut at my friend Erin of Sugar Rock Catwalk‘s birthday party at The High Line Rink, a pop up skating location sponsored by Uniqlo and located on Manhattan’s 10th Avenue and 30th Street.

Sporting baggy and cinched khakis, I contrasted the pants with the Sock it to Me Navajo Knee Socks, $9, for a bright statement. I haven’t been on rollert skates per se, since probably the tender age of 9 or 10, so at least if I took a spill, I could do it in style (luckily it didn’t happen!).
My favorite Sock it to Mes come from the brand’s “Funky” category, and include everything from moustaches to rockets, rainbows, and gnomes. If knee socks aren’t your thing, you can also go crew, outfit your man, or even get adorable baby leg warmers!
