In the past week I satisfied my craving for fall 2012 denim with some great new prints and washes from 7 for all Mankind. Click through the slideshow above to see the great snakeskin prints, stone-washed (yes, the early 90s are back!), and footwear from the brand. Also coming for fall 2012 is an eco-friendly line, and some FABULOUS denim jackets!

I was excited to celebrate the birthday of PF Flyers, which turns 75 this year – what a feat! And what a fete- the event lauded the brand and its strong heritage, as well as fun American food and libations, with a craft beer created just for the anniversary party (75 bottles to be exact). The celebration was honored with a Limited Edition 75th Anniversary capsule collection, and party goers also got to make cork coasters stamped with the company’s logo as well as view old advertising and the many pieces that come together to make the PF in PF Flyers (which stands for posture foundation, referencing the insole).

AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie
The Carrie Bradshaw we know and love has been played by none other than Sarah Jessica Parker for years. Yet, the first official photo of the new, young Carrie Bradshaw has been released! AnnaSophia Robb will be starring in The CW‘s new pilot The Carrie Diaries, and she has some tough Manolo Blahniks to fill!
The Carrie Diaries writer/executive producer Amy B. Harris is confident in Robb’s ability. She said, “When AnnaSophia Robb walked into the room, we knew we had found her. Her grace, intelligence, sense of fun and her empathetic nature make her the perfect girl to bring our young Carrie to life. The fact that she loves a gorgeous pair of heels doesn’t hurt either.”
We’re excited to see how the quirky Carrie will navigate the concrete jungle of 1980’s NYC as she conquers her first questions about love, sex and friendship. What’s more, Eric Daman (of Sex and the City and Gossip Girl, amongst other collabs) will be the costume designer. We’re anticipating reworked tutus and headpieces galore, come the debut of the show in fall 2012!
