My Street Style Photoshoot with T.J.MAXX & Amy Creyer

[I’m playing the photographer for Caitlin of StyleBistro, dressed in head-to-toe T.J.MAXX!]

 Since I can speak from experience, there’s no better way to learn than by doing, and thanks toAmy Creyer, street style photographer and blogger behind Chicago Street Style, and T.J.MAXX, I have a better understanding and execution of how things work behind, and in front of the camera. With myself and just six other bloggers in tow,  we picked from amongst a well-edited selection of finds from T.J.MAXX (everything but my earrings, eyeglasses, and ring are from the store!), grabbed a courtesy camera (the Canon PowerShot SX 170 IS ), and hit the streets of the West Village with Amy.

 It’s great to know that you can always find amazing photo shoot-worthy items at T.J.MAXX, with a new rotation of designer items constantly arriving.   I felt ultra “downtown cool” in the duds I selected, all available at, of course, T.J.MAXX (jacket: DOMA, dress, Zac Posen, shoes, Donald J. Pliner), while talking a stroll down memory lane,  posing in front of the now-closed famous nightclub spot, Don Hill’s, I place I frequented while a youngster studying at New York University.
