Referencing the artwork of Georgy Kurasov, Dana Maxx applied cubist’s preoccupation with shape and form to create pieces that are sculptural and striking in their color and composition. The collection worked on both ends of the spectrum, with half of the pieces presented in solid colors displaying different shades of pink, blue, or grey, while the latter half featured  abstract prints, whose forms blurred together like watercolors on a painter’s palette.

The idea of taking cutouts and placing them in interesting areas was another concept that emerged for the designer for this collection. One particular leather and jersey shirt was slashed at the neckline, allowing parts of the wearer’s collarbone and shoulders to be exposed. Combined together, these color-blocked, cut-out pieces are sure to turn a few heads once spring arrives.
