Can you put a price tag on preserving and restoring your skin? Most people would say no — and until you experience a visible wrinkle that you fixate on every time you glance in the mirror, you may beg to differ. Although no on has yet to discover the location of the fountain of youth, you can rest assured that these two cream of the crop premium products will work over time for you. Read on below for the specs on La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift and Lancôme Paris Absolue L’Extrait Regenerating Ultimate Elixir.
La Prairie Skin Caviar Liquid Lift, $500 for the 1.7 oz bottle (available at Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, more), features age-antagonist peptides, marine DNA nutrients and caviar extracts to fight wrinkles and overall work against the signs of aging. Not only does this formula lift and firm skin, but it also protects against future damage, hydrates, nourishes, and restores the epidermal stem cell function. The Caviar Skin Lift possesses a unique suspension in a dual chamber which must be activated and shaken to blend the caviar pearls with the rest of the micro fluid emulsion formula (see pics above, taken during this process). Apply morning or evening, under the rest of your routine products once dry, to treat the skin to a luxurious, state-of-the-art experience.
Lancôme Paris Absolue L’Extrait Regenerating Ultimate Elixir, which launches this July 2012 and retails for $350 for the 1.7 oz bottle (available at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue) is the brand’s latest luxury foray into regenerative skin care. Lancôme’s newest formula is based on the brand’s signature rose, created as a cross-breeding of 2,000 species in 1973, and has now been examined closely to bring two million of this particular rose’s native cells into one jar of product, and I can affirm that it certainly smells heavenly!
This powerful regenerating agent, created through the biotechnological process of Fermogenesis works to enhance the rebuilding of skin cells to work on multiple signs of aging, including expression lines on the forehead, frown lines, crow’s feet, undereye wrinkles, and more, and comes with a petal brush applicator to apply the product with, as well a to use to carefully massage it into the skin.
What do you think – will you try these new products?
