Leave it to Givenchy to make brown popular again. The latest Givenchy pre-fall collection is comprised of rich browns and olive hues, tamed down with shades of cream and aubergine, in tailored silhouettes with an overall slight, color blocked look, sans the frou and pinch of kitsch seen in recent collections. You will find some feathers and flounce, but of a more “romantic monastic”, androgynous vibe than Upper East Side Socialite ostentation.
Besides the new found austerity in the clothes, designer Riccardo Tisci turns the collection on its side with the new cross and harness signature hardware, dubbed Obsedia – very cool indeed! Below are some of my favorite looks from the collection- enjoy!

Love it! I don’t usually do minimal, but the details keep this interesting, and those boots! WANT.
