The Show: W118 by Walter Baker
The Theme: Modern Tribal
The Color Palette: Tropical colors mixed with neutrals- black and white with lots of yellows, oranges, bright blues and pinks
Best/Collection’s Signature Standout Look: The models were all plugged in with colorful studded headphones, adding a futuristic edge to the elegant cuts and high quality of fabrics. The combination of vivid colors and exotic patterns with neutral accents put a new spin on classic style. While all the looks made a huge splash the one that stole the show was the center model in a yellow leather motto jacket, aqua blue raw edge silk tank and parrot jungle tuxedo pants.

The Show: Marissa Webb Spring 2013
The Theme: Lady-like with an edge
The Color Palette: Stark whites, ivory, and black leather were brightened by teal batik prints, pops of neon,
vibrant red, and turquoise sequins.
Best/Collection’s Signature Standout Look: Marissa Webb’s highly anticipated first collection did not disappoint. The former J.Crew designer showed lady-like pieces with the requisite amount of cool-girl edge.
An army green blazer muted a highlighter-yellow sequin ensemble, complete with a neon necktie. A feminine bow blouse in vibrant red was paired with cigarette jeans in the same flame hue and black leather accessories. Another favorite look combined a turquoise sequin shell and leather leggings. The looks were the perfect balance of tailored and edgy, and the shoes were the perfect accessories in shades of violet, flame, and neon. Swoon.

The Show: General Idea Men’s RTW Spring 2013
The Theme: The Last Lumberjack
The Color Palette: Neutral colors, camo prints and plenty of neon accents
Best/Collection’s Signature Standout Look: General Idea constructed an energetic collection that still maintained a tough, rugged image. Outdoor gear like windbreakers, puffy vests and boat shoes were made current with neon accents and razor sharp cuts. The standout look, seen above, was a camo jacket layered over both an athletic navy windbreaker and a more classic pinstriped shirt. Complimented with lime lace up oxfords and an orange knit beanie, this look proved just how with-it menswear can be.

The Show: Erin Barr Spring 2013 Presentation
The Theme: Women in the late 50s
The Color Palette: Black, white, grey and red
Best/Collection’s Signature Standout Look: A late 50s themed living room set the tone for the classic, chic collection. Models lounged around in elegant, sophisticated dresses and voguish pant suits. The horizontal red and black striped fabric felt both smart and swanky against the other white, slim dresses and black leather cut-out pieces. The standout pieces were the skin-showing, perfectly body-conscious gowns.
