I recently got up close and personal with the latest pieces from Wacoal and b.tempt’d, from touching some of the new sumptuous styles that just hit stores this week to getting a bra fitting and a new b.tempt’d style! Two years ago I became privy to the brands, and have been a convert ever since to the fit and comfort that even underwire styles from these brands bring forth!
Plus, I discovered that I have been wearing the drastically wrong size for a LONG time – oops! I didn’t feel too terrible about it though, since according to Liz Smith, Wacoal’s Bra Expert, “8 out of 10 women wear the wrong sized bra, and most women wear their bras 1 – 1 ½ inches too big in the band and 1 cup size too small,”!

From over 15,000 vendors in 60 countries, the odds are certainly in your favor of ending up with some fabulous finds at amazing prices at T.J.Maxx! But hey, I know I’m preaching to the choir, and you already know about the awesomeness that is T.J.Maxx, and I’ll bet you can easily recall a great item you recently got at a killer percentage off the retail price. I recently attended a T.J.Maxx event to laud the brand’s style scouts and some of the new great merchandise via the “Self-Expression Exhibit” that showed pictures of some fellow bloggers sporting hot trends for spring, juxtaposed with items in-store at T.J.Maxx that can be purchased to duplicate the trend.
Some of my favorites included color-blocked pastels, lace dresses, embellished tops, metallic sweaters, eyelet shorts, and over sized accessories from brands such as Cole Haan, Kenneth Cole, Rachel Roy, Erin by Erin Fetherston, and more. About the Collection: A softened, voluminous Balenciaga of yore was present at Alexander Wang’s design debut, in cuts and nipped tailoring that had an ounce of heritage reminiscence mixed in with a sleek contemporary aesthetic. Although Wang’s much-anticipated arrival came with tremendous buzz and anticipation, it will still take some time for him to get his bearings and prove what he can do for the house, however, I think his soft, respectful landing of the brand signature silhouettes is a great start.
