From our friends at thefind.com:
Looking back on your childhood and considering how many wrapped birthday presents you shook and rattled by your ear, silently praying that the gift from your grandmother wasn’t yet another hideous homemade sweater with a mortifyingly cheesy print emblazoned right on the front, it’s hard to imagine that they’re coming into style. Yes, you read that correctly – chunky knit sweaters with animals and symbols and icons are about to have quite a moment during this upcoming fall and winter season… and no, “Ugly Christmas Sweater” parties don’t count! Take Wildfox Couture’s latest creations, for example: big red heart motifs, deer faces edged up with slashed sleeves, and crocheted sweater-scarf-hoodie hybrids to boot — this Fall 2011 collection is all about channeling everything you always hated about horrific knitwear and embarrassing prints. Sure, these pieces are quirky and they’re most certainly cozy… but the real question is: are they chic? Any character from Pretty Little Liars would provide me with a resounding “OMG yes!” but we’re curious about the real stylistas. What say you – would you rock a reinvented version of your grandma’s crochet wardrobe?

They have personality!! my problem is I may be a bit(just a bit) too old and look like I borrowed them from my mom hehehe….You younger cuties could definitely rock ’em(I might be able to get away with the heart sweater)
