I know it sounds dramatic, but I just barely scraped by this past New York Fashion Week. With balancing a myriad of schedules, deadlines, and shows literally all over the city, it’s no surprise I topped off the week with a cold. I was fully prepared, as you can see from only 1/5 of the contents of my bag, which included show invites, business cards, plenty of FIGI water, lipsticks, hand sanitizer, tissues, backup batteries, a broadband internet card, eyeglasses, press badge, and of course, my Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7. In partnership with Windows phone, I gave the Samsung Focus with Windows Phone 7 a test run, as aforementioned a week ago, and to my delight, it saved me in some sticky situations.
As you can see via the pic above, I can add posts and make changes to Fashion Pulse Daily, directly from the phone! This was super handy that the phone has a WordPress app on days when I didn’t have my computer with me, and was also great for last-minute updates or edits that needed to be made.
Twitter: I could log in, and add multiple accounts via the regular Twitter function, and also via an app called Seesmic. I could upload pics directly from there as well, instead of having to email them to Twitpic, like I do on my Blackberry.
Huge screen: overall, it was sooo much easier to view my schedules, all excel files, as the screen is ginormous, and I can also scroll over the files, zoom in, click on boxes, and generally see much more at one time.
Clean Design: The layout is very straightforward, very easy to navigate, so I was able to quickly hit the ground running and find anything that I wanted to add or more around on the homescreen quickly.
That’s a wrap for my experience, and don’t forget: ONE FASHION PULSE DAILY reader will win the exact same phone! You have until February 28th to enter via this link — thanks for participating, and good luck!
