On Monday I announced the awesome gift hotline campaign that I’m doing with T.J.Maxx and Marshalls, and the day has finally come! Today, Friday December 6th from 9am-5pm I will be one of the featured operators amongst the style and gift experts answering calls to help callers find the perfect gift for someone on their list.

What Does Your Closet Say About You? T.J.MAXX Knows!

T.J.Maxx, without fail, has been one of my go-to shopping destinations for my ENTIRE LIFE. How many stores can you say that about? Not many, right? At a recent event with the brand, T.J.Maxx found fresh way to think about shopping, via its Six Degrees of Self-Expression Personas. With the aid of clinical psychologist and T.J.Maxx “Closetologist” Dr. Jennifer Baumgartner, the way that you shop, assemble, and organize your items says a lot about you, but have you ever taken the time to break it down and think about it? Right away, Dr. Baumgartner (Dr. B) affirmed that my diagnosis that I received via the super quick quiz was spot-on (take the quiz to find out yours, here), which surprised me, because after viewing the closets, I was sure that a different one was me! Just goes to show you that sometimes we need an outside perspective to truly know, and understand ourselves.

“I have always been fascinated by the psychology behind our fashion choices, which often times can lead to insights about our inner workings,” said Dr. Baumgartner. “Women want their wardrobe choices to be a true reflection of who they are, which is why they turn to places like T.J.Maxx to find those designer pieces at great prices that give them more possibilities to express their unique style.”

There were pieces, however from each of the closets that I’d love to own, and will scour my favorite store locations for it, and now, can shop online for them too! See below for each of the closets that represent different personas, and I’ve starred the one that was my diagnosis!

T.J. Maxx Has Got it Going on for Spring!

From over 15,000 vendors in 60 countries, the odds are certainly in your favor of ending up with some fabulous finds at amazing prices at T.J.Maxx! But hey, I know I’m preaching to the choir, and you already know about the awesomeness that is T.J.Maxx, and I’ll bet you can easily recall a great item you recently got at a killer percentage off the retail price. I recently attended a T.J.Maxx event to laud the brand’s style scouts and some of the new great merchandise via the “Self-Expression Exhibit” that showed pictures of some fellow bloggers sporting hot trends for spring, juxtaposed with items in-store at T.J.Maxx that can be purchased to duplicate the trend.

Some of my favorites included color-blocked pastels, lace dresses, embellished tops, metallic sweaters, eyelet shorts, and over sized accessories from brands such as Cole Haan, Kenneth Cole, Rachel Roy, Erin by Erin Fetherston, and more.
