Last week, Rachel Zoe and business partner Robin Moraetes opened the ultimate New York blow dry destination: DreamDry. Located at 35 West 21st Street in the Flatiron District, all DreamDry hairstylists are trained at the DreamDry Academy, and many of the signature looks offered are based on popular trends seen on the runway and the red-carpet. Many of these styles include: “The Veronica” retro waves, or “The Farrah” soft loose curls, or “The Audrey” high sleek bun and many more. As soon as you walk through the doors of ultra modern and sleek interior, you can use an iPad at the door to help you choose your hairstyle, which also includes dry styling (without a wash), a “bring your own hair extensions” option, along with ponytail and braided styles. And you can even use the iPad throughout the appointment to catch up on some fashion reading. Also available is packages sold in a bundle for extra savings and the DreamDry Dossier loyalty program, which tracks your spending via a point system so that you can work toward complimentary services. Now who wouldn’t want this kind of pampering? You can easily book your appointment online via this link — happy styling!

Jockey has been a staple for comfortable and basic intimates and shapewear for decades, but now the brand is getting a more glamorous edge. Super Stylist Rachel Zoe has teamed up with Jockey as a curator of some of the “major must-haves” of the collection. The pieces will hit stores starting in October, 2012. The partnership is a marriage between the classic and comfortable Jockey pieces mixed with Zoe’s edge and fashionable expertise. In the era of Spanx and hidden paddings underneath clothing, what’s happening underneath a garment is just as important as the garment itself. Zoe says of the alliance: “Style starts from within, and having the right foundation is critical to the ultimate success of your outfit. I love marrying comfort with style, and this new collection by Jockey does just that.” The line is amazingly priced too, with pieces ranging from $10.50-$27.
Will you try some of these items?
