JCPenney is committed to making sure we revere them, and use them, thanks to its latest “Get Your Penney’s Worth” campaign, designated to remind customers of the power of a penny and the retailer’s dedication to a stellar shopping experience. Kicking off this week (ends March 5th), the retailer is launching promotional offers called “Penney Days,” that includes a nice range of “buy one, get one” specials available in store and on jcp.com, where customers can purchase any item from the company’s The Original Arizona Jean Co.® and then purchase an additional Arizona apparel or accessory item for just one penny (excluding footwear, and while supplies last)! What better team up than a brand that has the word “penny” incorporated into it? I checked out the available offerings for the inaugural Penney Days online, and being a jewelry girl myself, went straight to that category under Arizona Jean Co.®. There were plenty of necklaces, ring sets, and great earrings to choose from in the buy one, get one for a penny section, with my favorites being this Arizona Filigree Center Stone Necklace and Arizona 6-piece Tri-Tone Ring Set.
If the plethora of shopping options for a penny weren’t enticing enough, the opportunity to win free merchandise from JCPenney via the “Penny Drop” game certainly was! I dropped by the very special launch event in honor of Penney Days, with apparel, accessories, and home goods on display and the opportunity to win items at various price points from the retailer by dropping a coin in a slot to works its way down through the pegs to a dollar amount. This, of course, was super fun, and I won a $25 gift of my choice! The ante was upped by actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth making a special appearance while I was there – so cool!
Stay tuned for more Penney Day promotions and one-day specials for just one penny with no additional purchase required happening throughout 2016! Items will include a mixture of fashion and home merchandise from a select of JCPenney‘s private brand offerings. It’s certainly exciting and enticing to think about the possibilities of what may become available on Penney Days; I think the last time I bought something for a penny was a single Swedish Fish in 1993 at a penny candy shop in Pittsburgh…how about you? This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of JCPenney. The opinions and text are all mine.
