I hate when I’m wearing a GREAT outfit, and only remember, or have time, to take a photo of it WAY past sun down. Which means…apologies for this non-scenic pics inside of my apartment! At least you can still get the gist of the look, with the cool thing about it pinpointing the heavy mix of patterns.
Here’s a tip on making it work: my color rule of three’s, max four, in the mix! There are three in my blouse, with the unionizing color pulling into the pants and shoes being the every easy to pair shade black! The lines are kept pretty linear and clean, with only a bit of texture in the jacquard, and finished off with the ultra soft, velvety nubby feel of the booties.
Embellishments are kept simple, with some studs, and a dash of collar jewelry, which came with the blouse. You can easily duplicate it yourself with clip-ons; use collar-specific ones, or even ones meant for shoes, on your collar tips (check out these Collar Tips from Boohoo). What do you think; will you mix patterns this fall/winter? Here’s what I’m wearing, which is still available for purchase, in case you’d like to duplicate it yourself!
Boutique Evie Georgette Geo Contrast Shirt, $40
Boutique Tamsin Brocade 7/8th Trousers, $60
Nicole Suedette Pewter Mirrored Heel Ankle Boot, $50

[So yeah, I got a little bored of the white wall…and Photoshopped the wood grain all over for a bit of whimsy!]
