If you can just hold off until spring, you will encounter the most effortlessly sophisticated pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe from Aritzia.
Dresses and tunic tops, light weight trenches and flared, cropped pants, textured cardigans, organic cotton garments, work out wear, and sleek bodysuits round out the apparel “best hits,” while bucket bags, wide-brim hats, and a plethora of gorgeous blanket scarves complete the accessories collection.
It’s true, in my opinion, that Aritzia becomes more refined each season, with pieces that step outside of the trends and into the category of constant wear. There’s plenty of great pieces that fit into this category for 2016, so stay tuned for when they hit the stores and online in a few months! For now, tempt yourself with what’s to come by perusing the slide show of my top picks, above.

I love unique anecdotes, and this one surely can’t be beat: the Glossier Mask Duo Set was inspired by a Russel Stover Chocolate box, and taking a glance at the well-packaged, slightly retro design packaging, I can totally see it! Just in time for the holidays, Glossier has combined two great things into one stylish set – the detoxifying Mega Greens Galaxy Pack and the hydrating Moisturizing Moon Mask can now come in a pod-like set of 12 (six each) along with a Glossier-embroidered headband. I’ve been using both of these masks for months now, and love the versatility of having them in tinier iterations. For starters, they are the correct portioned amount to mask up your face and neck on double-time, or to share with another person. Also, the smaller packaging makes them portable, and mess-free, which means that you will never have to forgo your skin routine even when traveling. Yippee!
It also makes an easy gift, since it is thoughtfully packaged to perfection in it’s candy-like box and accouterments. The bottom line: it’s just so darn cute, and your skin will certainly thank you for the nourishment.
The limited edition Glossier Mask Duo Set retails for $38 at Glossier.com.
P.S. – In need of a great brow product? Glossier just launched Boy Brow – choose from three shades ($16) to fill, thicken, and groom!
Full Disclosure: Fashion Pulse Daily was given a set for editorial consideration.

With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s time to turn up the shine quotient with pieces that behave in a useful, slightly casual yet sophisticated kind of way. I’ll be adding a little festive touch to my day-to-day aesthetic with some modern all-over metallic accessories that have moved away from a wash of miniature glitter bits and iridescence to larger confetti chunks and sequins. It will be hard to miss the opportunity to shine with beauty and accessories items alike; you’ll find the new version o the sparkly stuff in essie’s new fringe luxeeffects polishes, with a sequin clutch being the “it” bag to slide under your arm for the smattering of parties and holiday events that are sure to pop up in the coming weeks.
A few of my favorites are pictured above; I’ll be wearing these silver Sole Society sequin smoking slippers at every chance I can get, pairing with everything from a dress with black tights peeping out from underneath to jacquard trouser pants in a deep wine color. Draped around my neck or resting over my ears will be a set of the ever-stylish FRENDS headphones, making my rush hour commute to work actually enjoyable. I’ll get my face party-ready with these sequin-infused mark. brushes, that can securely be held inside their accompanying clutch, or can leave them on the dresser and take the darling little clutch out into the world with me.
Gleaming metal or all-over sequins are shining brighter than ever this winter; which look will you choose?
