At an exclusive Loehmann’s fall trends event last week, I hand picked this GORGEOUS Steve Madden Kyla Woven Satchel in Stone for you (see the style here)! It retails for $98, but of course Loehmann’s had it at amazing price; let’s just say it was lower than anywhere you can find it online.
If you’re not familiar with Lohmann’s, it is an incredibly-well edited discount department store with designer finds at unbeatable prices. I’ve been shopping at Loehmann’s on 17th street in NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood for about 10 years now, so I’m glad to be able to offer you a great find from the store. Enough of me gushing; see below for the quick, easy, and fun rules of entry!
RULES OF ENTRY:
1) Tell us in the comments below “What was the most incredible designer apparel/accessories/footwear deal you ever got?” (I think I have too many to list… I love shopping for a bargain!)
2) Sign up for the Fashion Pulse Daily Newsletter (if you’re not already a subscriber)
3) USA entrants only, one entry per person, must be 18 or older.
Good luck!
*Contest ends on Wednesday, September 7th, 2011 at 11:59pm. The winner will be selected via Random.org.

Thymes is such a super bath and body brand; it manages to capture the perfect blend of essential oils with amazing scents while maintaining that it is free of of parabens, SLES, SLS, propylene glycol, mineral oil, petrolatum and animal-derived ingredients. The latest addition to the collection, the Bergamot Vert collection, includes bergamot alongside notes citrus, cypress, jasmine and musk.
I received for review the Liquid Hand Wash ($12) and the Body Wash ($18), which certainly lived up to the brand’s reputation of high quality and performance with relaxation at its core. Thanks to the bergamot, this fragrance certainly possesses a unisex appeal as well as great moisturizing properties thanks to the vitamins C and E ingredients.
Due to its artful packaging and range of products, Thymes makes a great gift! If you’re in the NYC-area, check out its exclusive Thymes store within the The New York Botanical Garden’s gift shop, where you can find a variety of their scents including the new Bergamot Vert along with Eucalyptus, Goldleaf, Kimono Rose, and Lavender.

I’ve been joking that “mustard and ketchup” is my new favorite color combination, and as funny as it sounds, they really work well together! It’s a great way to go into the colder months with a pop of color that mixes and matches well with the season’s heavy bout of neutrals. In this look, the centerpieces are certainly the crimson NYDJ jeans and the Avon Convertible Trench Jacket, which has the capability to be worn in three different ways. It’s always fun to have options, especially when a flux in temperature can be anticipated or you need suitcase-friendly options when you travel. See below for what I’m wearing in this outfit, as well as the rest of the convertible trench pics (which of the three styles is your favorite?).

Alisha Skinny in Fine Line Twill, in Crimson Red, ($104, courtesy of NYDJ)
Land’s End Emma Classic Ballet Shoes in Golden Sun Denim, (on sale, $14.99)
Alternative Apparel Burn Out tee, $36
Forever 21 red cluster ring (no longer available)
Maybelline ColorSensational Lipcolor in Red Revolution, ($7.49, courtesy of Maybelline)

This past week Nicole Miller has added to her lifestyle offerings with a new fine jewelry line via her nicole by Nicole Miller at JCPenney. Featuring her signature Celtic knot designs, the items range from $127.99 to $754.99. Says Miller,“I wanted to create a fine jewelry collection that was sophisticated yet effortless and falls somewhere between evening and casual. I love the versatility of the jewelry – it allows you to go anywhere.” Our favorite piece from the collection, the nicole by Nicole Miller Celtic Diamond Earrings are pictured above.
