Baubles that give back!
Sustainable jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning is Anthropologie‘s freshest recruit for designing a spectacular collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry. Crafted from purely recycled metals and organic stones, Manning’s jewelry will take your breath away.
Available as of April 1st, this is certainly a collection worthy of admiration. Top off any ensemble with the dangling Stalactite and Silver Drops ($868), pictured above. If the hefty price points intimidate, praise from afar the new ways to explore our earth’s natural beauty.

Just in the nick of time the Intel-Inspired Ultrabook, a Lenovo IdeaPad U300s came to my rescue, as my MacBook is turning four and the signs of aging are quite prominent (read: it is soooo slow!). I received this amazing laptop courtesy of Intel, a brand that understands the importance of possessing and utilizing cutting edge technology in order to perform and maintain my job as a blogger and entrepreneur at a superbly efficient rate. Working with WordPress, images, large files, and social media means I have lots of windows open at all times and I need a device that can handle my segmented, multi-tasking work style.

I love the marriage of fashion and function that appears via a printed cover and sleek appearance, as seen in these pics of my new laptop, and on the runway at the Inside Generation Style Fashion Show, but it also has substance behind it’s beauty with an Intel® Core™ i7 ULV processor, Windows® 7 Home Premium software, 4GB DDR3 memory, and eight hours of battery life; perfect for when I take it to a cafè or travel with it.

Speaking of travel, at only 0.6” thin and 2.9 pounds, there’s no reason why I can’t constantly be plugged in to the pulse of my site and work, no matter where I may roam. Since I lead a lifestyle on the go, of constant travel and movement from one city or event to the next, being weighed down with a cumbersome laptop is just not an option. My iPad in my handbag is great, but it doesn’t give me the full functionality, from a work perspective, of having an efficient laptop in front of me. Here’s some pics of me getting accustomed to my new Intel-Inspired Ultrabook, as I am hard at work on FashionPulseDaily, naturally!

What an incredible event! I, alongside 15 other bloggers-turned-models took the runway for the Inside Generation Style event in collaboration with Intel and Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB). The event, which paid tribute to the entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and style-influencing role that bloggers play, aired via Livestream while it was happening (you can watch it here), In gorgeous duds by Norma Kamali’s KamaliKlture, Orla Kiely, shoes by Just Fabulous, and jewelry from Bauble Bar, we stepped out to the Parisian-themed cafe set to a sold out crowd, and amongst them, were my best friends, which made the event even more special for me.
I wore the KamaliKulture all-in-one sleeveless dress, styled with items from my own wardrobe, and the Orla Kiely Pleated Silk Boatneck Dress with the Orla Kiely Textured Leather Sparrow Bag. I was so thrilled to be a part of this special event, and even took part with sitting at the ‘cafe’ with a sleek and chic Intel-Inspired Ultrabook. Enjoy the behing-the-scenes and runway pics below!

We all know that utterly brilliant Dove Campaign, featuring real women with the confidence to show off their skin. Why do we call it utterly brilliant? Because Dove is working to challenge the mainstream definitions of beauty.
At present, Dove is launching the brand’s largest campaign featuring real women. For the first-time ever, every woman who uploads a photo at Dove.com/ShowUsYourSkin orFacebook.com/Dove will appear in a Dove ad – including online ads and a dynamic billboard in the world-renowned Times Square. Every woman has superior beauty potential!
The media is capable of manipulating us, often times lowering body satisfaction. The statistics are staggering. We encourage all of our readers to join Dove as they combat the “thin ideal” and create a new cultural narrative fostered by the media.
The brand’s national “Show Us Your Skin” campaign highlights the Dove body washes and beauty bars we all depend on for soft, smooth skin. Stop scrutinizing your body for flaws, and get involved by treating your own body with kindness and respect.
