Alice and Olivia’s Spring 2013 collection is a flash back to 1950s Woodstock and Miami Beach. With bright primary colors and icy blues and papaya oranges, the pieces have us itching for sunshine. A major highlight of the collection was the use of colored leather, with well-tailored moto jackets and shift dresses were featured in bright yellow, vibrant orange and pastel pink leather – definitely a must-have for spring. The denim and tea collection also made a big statement, sure to be a hit in 2013 by bringing back detailed, embroidered bell-bottom jeans and t-shirts. The brand also launched their first line of handbags for spring including everything from large gold metallic snakeskin tote bags to small clear plastic clutches.

From our friends at thefind.com:
With all the ever-expanding trends in denim constantly tempting us to increase our shopping budget, it can be tough to choose which ones are worth the splurge. From summer’s floral and ikat to more fall-festive paisley and brocade, the possibilities are nearly endless, but one particular pattern is worth rocking all year-round, and that’s python! It’s sexy and edgy with plenty of personality, snake-printed denim is an easy way to amp up the style factor of your typical jeans-and-tee ensemble. Go classic with a straightforward python print like these Big Star ‘Alex’ Skinny Jeans in Snake, or go colorful with these cool acid wash Rich and Skinny ‘Legacy Sol’ Snake-Print jeggings. Not afraid to really stand out? Knock out two trends with one pair with these glossy coated 7 For All Mankind jeans in Burgundy Snake. But if you’re a newbie to printed pants and prefer to start out small, try out these True Religion Halle Watermark jeggings which infuse a more subtle snake effect into your classic blue denim wash. Whichever style you prefer, snake is the way to go this season!
