There’s a bunch of holidays and celebrations right around the corner, so luckily LollieShopping has got you covered!
Mother’s Day – Call me traditional, but I think jewelry is the best gift to give any mother. Moms have a tendency to never purchase jewelry for themselves; so whether you’re her spouse or her offspring, I say give her the gift of jewelry. Diamond bracelets, gemstone necklaces and stud earrings are wonderfully touching gifts for the matriarch in your life. Treat her to something sparkling and special and make this a Mother’s Day she won’t forget.

NARS is helping us usher in the warm summer season with a collection that does not shy away one bit from color. Inspired by the glamorous decade of the 1970s, these products provide high impact, vibrant shades of yellow and purple eye shadow, a limited edition neon orange nail polish, and a bright pink lip gloss for a pout full of punch. The collection will be available starting April 15th at NARScosmetics.com for anyone who wants to start their summer season a little early (and really, who doesn’t?). With these products in your beach bag or raffia clutch, you’ll be ready for a summer party in no time.
Before this collection hits stores, NARS is gifting its fans products via a Instagram Lip Challenge, complete with some sweet prizes (click here for rules). All you have to do is post a photo to Instagram inspired by one of the lip shades of berry, nude, pink, and red on the color’s designated day with the hashtag #NARSLips in the photo description. All submissions will be displayed on the “NARS Exclusives” tab on Facebook at www.facebook.com/narscosmetics. and will choose the most creative submission each day as the winner to receive the entire range of NARS’ 39 lip pencils from the Velvet Gloss, Velvet Matte, and the newest Satin line. The contest ends April 5th, which gives you two days to reveal the makeup artist within you and get a chance to win some free products. What could be better?

For Fall 2013, you can look forward to new fabric treatments, silhouettes, and overall great offerings from Kelly Wearstler, which is not a surprise for anyone familiar with the label. Beginning her career with a home decor line in the ’90s, Wearstler’s fashion line launched in 2011 and her designs and patterns are a result of her prior experience in mastering idiosyncratic designs and pattern making. This season, Wearstler also drew inspiration from one of her favorite designers, Ettore Sottsass, because of his grasp on bold geometric forms.
For the fall collection we will see an array of both muted and bold color schemes throughout her collection. All of the graphics are uniquely hers, making everything from the blouses to the t-shirts a fashion statement. Something all loyal and new fans of the brand can look forward to is the thirty-piece denim collection. The made of Japanese denim and woven into the luxe fabric is also gold or silver stitching. Another standout aspect of the collection was the jewelry, which embodies a modern and avant-guarde touch making these pieces certainly more so than a modern adornment, but also a work of art.
