NYFW Day 5: What FPD Wore!

The week is already set at a frenetic pace, taking me with it! I’m feeling lovely in an assortment of hues that blend perfectly into a spring or fall wardrobe; once the weather turns chilly, pairing this with some thick opaque tights and boot or booties will certainly do the trick! As always, accessories for me is the spice of life, and I love when I can compliment or perfectly match them to the colors in my clothing.

			[Vivienne Tam: Three ultra-important trends that started to surface for spring 2014 have now been cemented for 2015 in this look: see-through, embroidery, and white leather sandals. 			[Kate Spade New York: This season shows that being laid back AND put together actually can go hand-in hand with the right pieces and accessories; a green floral print, minimal flat sandals, and a matching bag help. (Image via Style.com)]

			
			[Dennis Basso: Every artist has their medium, and for Mr. Basso, it is fur. Regardless of how you feel about the fuzzy stuff, one can't help but admit that he is a master of his craft, making the most incredibly intricate designs in hues that feel purely on-trend and elegant. 			[Reem Acra: Never short on "wow" moments, Acra's latest outing on the runway presented the return of asymmetrical, one-shouldered gowns that had been lying dormant the past few years. She did it so well, that I only just realized how much I missed this look! (Image via Style.com)]

			[Custo Barcelona: Although no stranger to showing quite a bit of skin or a statement print, spring 2015 may be the time that Custo Barcelona really shines, since there is a noticeable return of the print to the runway, after many seasons of minimalism reigning. (Image via Style.com)]

			
			[Charlotte Ronson: The girl who wears Ronson's clothes is effortlessly cool, which means it's always a good idea of taking notes on what the designer is doing to have a finger on the pulse of what may be next in street style fashion. 			[Josie Natori: Rich fabrics and embroidery are no stranger to Natori's world, however a new riff on a jumpsuit was at once stunning and memorable. It also proved as a reminder to never neglect the powers of a good tie-dye print. (Image via Style.com)]

			
			[Nicole Miller: There was so much to like about this Rio/tropical themed collection, however the subtlety of the pineapples placed cleanly on the sleeves reinforced the brand's ability to think outside of the box, a reason why its stylishly endured all of these years. ]

NYFW Day 4: What Julia Wore!

There’s no such thing as a weekend during fashion week, as shows run from 9am-9pm even on Saturday and Sunday. Nonetheless, I decided to work the glam factor in thanks to this stunning dress from Marimekko and dazzling Sorrelli jewels.

NYFW Day 3: What Julia Wore!

Welcome to Day 3 of New York Fashion Week! My feet aren’t killing me yet-yay! Just for an extra measure to sustain my comfort, I wore one of my favorite pairs of flats, and it being the weekend and all, I thought I could be a bit more casual anyways. Today was a scorcher, with the temperature hitting 92 degrees, so a sleeveless garment was absolutely in order.

Otherwise, here’s to hopefully an Indian summer and a mild winter, and in the meanwhile, I truly am enjoying the sun beating down, in tandem with getting in some of my new summer looks, for a while longer. What I’m wearing is actually two pieces, a halter top and skirt, but give an awesome illusion of one fluid dress, complimented by some blushy sparkle found on my wrists and ears.
