With Days 1, 2, and 3 down, here’s a look at what I’ve been wearing to New York Fashion Week this season. There has certainly been a sea of black garments spotted on other show goers, with shoes ranging from sandal stilettos to creepers ubiquitous.
Day 1 of New York Fashion Week, Spring 2014 Collections:
Because the tents are built over an empty concrete space, tucked in the south western corner of Lincoln Center, there are huge, powerful vents blasting cold air in, and my friend Darby and I took advantage of this funny photo op!
Today I wore:
BCBGMAXAZRIA Dress (found at T.J.MAXX this summer for more than half off, score!)
BOOHOO Two tone Chain Necklace
DAY 2 of New York Fashion Week:
While hanging out at the Style Coalition PG Style Lounge, I couldn’t help but take advantage of yet another photo op, wearing somebody’s Google Glass! Although the Google Glass didn’t want to listen to my commands, at least maybe I could pass for an ultra cool “Noogler” (that’s what Google calls its interns). Today was actually an exceptionally cold day for this time of year, so I had to don some pants and a long sleeve, which worked out just perfectly. I also got a fabulous hair style by Mikey at the lounge using Pantene products, and a fab nail art mani by Ayana using several shades of COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss.
What I wore:
Clark’s Dessert Boot with Heels
Day 3 New York Fashion Week:
I wanted to wear these fab Mara Hoffman pants to the Mara Hoffman show, and some new goodies arrived just in time from ShoeDazzle, so my outfit was SET! I am pretty much obsessed with my new bag (check out the detailed shots below – the studs on the bottom are so rad!), and switched it up a bit by interchanging my classic red Linea by Baume & Mercier watch strap with a satin black band for a little differentiation and fashion element.
What I wore:
AE Heather Grey and Cream Top
On my lids: Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint
Full Disclosure: some of the items worn during New York Fashion Week were given gratis to Fashion Pulse Daily.
