For me, there’s not much that could be more exciting than getting a preview of the trends for the upcoming season from some of my favorite brands, and luckily I was able to do so recently with the H.H.Brown umbrella of brands. At the showroom I was able to view what’s coming out in the months ahead by Crown by Børn, Børn, Walk- Over Shoes, Isolá, Kork-Ease, Söfft, Carmen Marc Valvo Calzature, and the brand-new for spring line of Carmen Marc Valvo footwear, which retails at a lower price point than the Calzature line.
Trends that were evident, and I’m very much looking forward to spring include colorblocking, mixed metallic, menswear-inspired womenswear, smoking slippers, worn-in workwear, heavy hardware, cut-out detailing, “almond” toe shapes, peep-toe booties, and more.
