Here at FPD we are still in the whirlwind that is the Oscars and all with good reason. We have rounded some of the best hair and makeup looks from a night where beauty trumps all.
Stacy Keibler stole the spotlight at the Oscars with her gorgeous gown and impeccable makeup look. On many interview occasions, George Clooney stepped aside and let the cameras focus on his lovely girlfriend; who said chivalry is dead? Celebrity make-up artist, Matthew VanLeeuwen was inspired by the glamorous ’20s, and this look was one of our favorites because it is something anyone can achieve with the help of some Elizabeth Arden New York products! To create this look simply use: PREVAGE Anti-Aging + Intensive Repair Daily Serum, Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup, and dust on Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder. For the eyes use: Beautiful Colorr Eye Shadow in Bone all over the eye and then in the crease apply Shimmering Cooper and Sugar Cube. To complete the look, use Beautiful Color Smoky Eyes Pencil and Enhancing Mascara. And lastly, no look is complete without some lip color! Try the Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Cameo.
Adele was a winner on stage and on the red carpet with some voluminous, award-worthy hair. Big hair is so lavish and oh so wearable! Every girl loves an oversized blowout every now and then, and thanks to John Frieda, we can recreate this red-carpet do at home. All you need is a blowdryer, a barrel brush, and some John Frieda Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray and John Frieda Luxurious Volume All-Day Hold Hairspray to lock in the style.
Makeup artsist, Georgie Eisdel for NARS Cosmetics chose an old Hollywood glamour look for Rose Bryne to compliment her all-white back cut-out gown. This feminine look was inspired by simplicity with bold defining brows and vivid lips, not too far off from the look NARS created for Naeem Khan for fall 2013. To create this glam look, all you need is Sex Appeal Blush, Pandora Duo Eyeshadow, and Luxembourg Satin Lip Pencil, all of which will be available in stores March 15th.
Now how can we end our beauty report without talking about the one woman who has set the celebrity hair beauty standards — Jennifer Aniston. Chris McMillian, celebrity hairstylist for LIVING PROOF, wanted to create a natural and sleek hairdo- a very Jen signature style. Would it be weird to say that I have always wanted to touch her hair because it looks so smooth and shiny? Ah, the envy! All you need to recreate Jen’s sleek-do is LIVING PROOF FULL SHAMPOO, FULL CONDITIONER , PRIME STYLE EXTENDER , and HOLD FELXIBLE HAIRSPRAY.
What was your favorite red-carpet beauty moment?
