I loved the Habillees documentary on the Sundance Channel/Full Frontal Fashion programming, and was thrilled when three more came out shortly after — Dirty Denim , Catwalk Countdown and The Red Carpet Issue. It’s great that you can watch these (in sections) online, and really get the inside scoop on the fashion industry. In honor of the relaunch of the site, Full Frontal Fashion is celebrating by giving away swag bags – yay!! One lucky Fashion Pulse Daily reader will have the chance to win a bag, that includes:
A hat and eternity scarve from Pure Blanks (with the Sundance Logo)
Wrist warmers from Nirvanna Designs
An Ella Vickers bag, made out of recycled sails
Rules of Entry :
1) Sign up for the Fashion Pulse Daily Newsletter (if youβre not already a subscriber)

3) USA entrants only, one entrant per person, must be 18 or older.
Good luck!

There are so many good classics but I’m going to go with a recent one: Sex and the City! I can’t wait to see the outfits in the second movie this summer! I am a subscriber.
I was already a subscriber! I’m going to go with “Roman Holiday” (I sense an Audrey Hepburn theme here…proves she’s an icon). I remember watching a special about the movie and they said the costumes were a huge part of the film. She goes from princess gowns to tomboyish skirts and shirts. So gorgeous. Plus her short hair was groundbreaking!
thanks xx

My nomination for great fashion movies was the 1958 movie Auntie Mame with Rosalind Russell with design costumes of Orry-Kelly whose designs for all the Hollywood beauties was awsome. In the movie Auntie Mame a NYC glamour puss extrordinaire who changed her dress to go to the bathroom and who threw the staff at Macy’s and Bloomingdales into competition to wait on her on her shopping trips found herself in charge of a nephew about 10. The costumes really blew me away then and when I revisited the film on DVD at a friend’s house a couple of months ago during a blizzard I found the costumes as grand as ever and as wearable today as then.
I have always been in love with My Fair Lady..of whom Cecil Beaton designed. Since so many picked Audrey I’ll go for Gone with the wind…the dress made out of curtains..who could forget it? I also loved Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette…oh and this is probably obscure to many people…Betty Davis in Dark Victory…course she was fashionable in anything she did.
Of course I am subscribed lol.
