At this point, it is pretty evident that winter has arrived! Staying warm, cozy, and stylish don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand, however we’ve come up with a list of items, most that we’ve actually tested, that make enduring the season way more bearable. See below for our list of hats, boots, and slippers.
The Kangol Wool Colette, $44, comes in seven different color options, is a warm wool-blend, and has a slight center crease as a nod to the trilby, yet with a softer curvature framing the face.
Fit to Flick Charlotte Ponytail Hat, $35, is hand-knit with a great fit and fun detail; there’s a slit in the back to pass through your ponytail or bun. What a fun, practical idea; I wish I’d thought of it first!
Columbia Luxi Lady Tunic, $60 (pictured) and Just Right Fleece Tunic, also $6o, are perfect for staying warm while looking put together. The Luxi Lady tunic has a inner waistband drawstring that let’s you tailor the longer length to your curves.
UGG Australia Ansley Slippers, $100, are the ultimate in warmth; I was given a pair during fashion week and have used them every day since! How many items can you say that you use every day? These slippers = a winter must!
Ahnu Grove Boots, $220, look sleek and go with practically everything, but comfort is king since the boots include a Vibram performance wedge outsole with Numentum technology, which means that you have neutral foot positioning, and toes can splay more naturally.
Who knew Teva made boots! The Teva Jade Cove High Boots, $118.93 (was $170), are lightweight and durable with Spider365 Rubber outsoles and have waterproof leather so you don’t fear to step out in the elements with these on your feet.
