Known for her extraordinary prints, Mara Hoffman did not fall short of the high expectations at New York Fashion Week. With silk tribal and meteorite prints that felt too fun and bright for fall/winter (in a good way), Hoffman’s collection embodied a whirlwind of travels. Drawing inspiration from “South American Shaman Cowboys,” shirtdresses and hooded gowns floated down the runway, yet looked even more incredible from behind with deep backs, sexy cut outs and long tails. We adored how she mixed navy and black, no longer a fashion faux pas, casually cuffed pants and sleeves, and intricately beaded gowns and bodices in an underdone, delicate way.
PS. Definitely check out her swimwear (not seen on NYFW runways, but still insanely cool) on her website!
