Splurge: Ok, so calling this a splurge is a stretch, but we’re not complaining! At $32, Arcona’s Bronzer/Self Tanner is light and oil-free, hydrates with shea butter and protects skin with vitamin E. All this and a natural tan? We’re sold.

Self Tanners for the Face

Steal: Kate Somerville 360° Towelettes ($10 for two towelettes) produce a streak-free glow within two to four hours of application. Users raved about how hydrating the towelettes were, and we’ll rave that it’s paraben free- but just be careful; wherever you apply first is the spot that gets most of the tanner!

Splurge: A self tanner that smells like cocoa?! We almost couldn’t believe it, but we dipped into Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Cream ($42) and our skin really did smell delectable instantaneously. In just a few sunless hours, the creamy caramel self tanner gave an amazing tan. Savory satisfaction.

Steal: Brushing on bronzer is the easiest way to enhance one’s natural skin tone. Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear Ultra Smoothing Bronzer ($13.95) leaves skin with a pearly, golden bronze that won’t fade. Start with some primer, finish with some blush, and you’re good to glow for the entire day!

Splurge: Create the ultimate shimmery glow with NARS Laguna Bronzer Powder ($34). The finely milled powders fill in lines to create and/or enhance a tan. An impeccable golden finish that’s both subtle and sexy, now that’s something to praise.

Tinted Moisturizers
