[Resting my BoostCase’d iPhone, my iPad, and the latest issue of People on my flight’s tray table]
One of my major complaints/daily anxiety regarding my iPhone is a result of it’s battery life; I never seem to be able to sustain it an entire day without being able to charge it. I perpetually close the apps, turn the light off, and try not to constantly touch it. I have a portable, wireless charger that I tend to have in my bag with me, however, at most, I can get a 25% charge out of it.
[The removed Boostcase Hybrid battery charger sleeve]
Luckily, I was given a Boostcase Hybrid ($79.99) to review, which has the capacity to fully charge the iPhone 4 or 4S while on the go. I thought, what better way to really give the product a test than during my recent travels, so I slid my phone into the case and added the detachable battery charger sleeve so that by the time I went through the routine of heading to the airport, flying, and finally arriving at my destination, my battery was fully charged and ready to roll. I turned my phone on airplane mode and let the Boostcase do its thing during boarding and while ‘electronically approved devices’ were allowed to be in use.
Although it is lightweight and slim, it’s great to be able to remove the charging portion for extra ease of phone usage and space. I would definitely recommend getting a Boostcase for iPhone users that are as paranoid as me about losing battery life, and you can choose from three other color options for this particular style (black, magenta, or white). Once you’ve drained your Boostcase battery, you can recharge it, with our without your iPhone in it, which will take about three hours.
