[Trying on some furry ear warmers at Century 21’s Manhattan location]
It’s practically a rite of passage to introduce new New Yorkers and visitors to Century 21 –– a department store chock-full of designer brands with savings of 40%-65% off retail prices. You can easily master your holiday shopping list here, fooling everyone into thinking you spent top dollar on designer labels! Plus, one of my favorite aspects are the super-accommodating hours: depending on the location, the store opens as early as 7:45am, and can be open as late as 11pm!
On a recent visit, I discovered merch from some brands I was quite pleasantly surprised to see, including Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Valentino, Cole Haan, and Matt & Nat. There was even a section in the front of the store with little knick knacks perfect for stocking stuffers and “back-up gifts” — you know the kind; when someone surprises you with a gift you didn’t expect, and need something versatile to have on hand, just in case of this! Just like any other department store, they’ve got all the main categories covered, from cosmetics to men’s and women’s apparel, home, footwear, and more.
