[The Raised Stud Style Strap amongst my other bracelets]
I’m all about products that double as “twofers,” so when the opportunity came to test the David & Young iPhone case which can also be worn as a bracelet, I immediately went for it! David & Young has been hocking its stylish accessories ever since it started in the 1977 with a mission to provide goods that lay in tune with the on-trend pop culture and prevalent street styles, initially finding fans in ’80s pop icons such as Madonna and Duran Duran, and now has grown to be available in Macy’s and Nordstrom locations nationwide.

The David & Young Style Strap for iPhone cases that I tested, the silcone AB Rhinestone Style Strap and Raised Studs Style Strap ($25 each, available for iPhone 4/4S), both perfectly enclosed my iPhone for protection but also acted as a cool handle for it when in transit, and of course as a removable strap to act as a bracelet while out and about. When stationary, the strap also acted as a prop to elevate my iPhone off of the desktop surface which I really appreciated, as it kept the phone much safer from liquid spills. After the good ‘ole test run, I’m totally digging the Style Strap — quite a terrific concept at a price that I absolutely love!

Vans has some AMAZING new fabrications and color-ways to look forward to for its fall 2013 collection, including treatments of sparkle, faux embossed animal skins, fleece-linings, pastel hues, a Hello Kitty collection and Liberty of London collab. See above for pics of my favorite items from a walk-through of the new products with the Vans team, which also includes my favorite new style, the Lace Sk8-Hi Platform, along with fab checkerboard and cork wallet options, sunnies, and apparel.
If you are getting the urge to shop Vans ASAP, you definitely won’t want to miss the capsule collection with brand Kenzo (see last two pics of the slideshow), that takes six of the brand’s original prints and places them on two of Vans’ classic styles – the canvas authentic and the canvas slip-on!

Walking into Ted Baker London‘s stuy for the debut of this season’s collection took me back to the glamorous days of the ’20s. The interior was welcoming with leather armchairs and side tables decked out with opulent accessories such as crystal bow clutches and wallets (alongside a book or two). This popular London brand kept with its nostalgic aesthetic that also had a ’50s glam quotient via vintage floral prints and tweed blazers, and of course a traditional trench coat (a must-needed item to accommodate the London weather).
But the collection also incorporated many updated, contemporary components including conversational patterns, vivid colors, and great hardware accents. Ted Baker London’s artful use of pleats seen throughout the collection on dresses and tops married a sophisticated and playful tone to the lineup. All of these pieces, whether it be the rainbow window dress or the safari clutch, have such personality that they make a statement all its own.
