Lacoste recently previewed its newest fall/winter 2016 collections, which included a mixture of runway looks, sportswear, the sport lineup, leather goods, Lacoste L!VE items, and footwear. Items from the runway featured prominent outerwear pieces found heavily in camel and navy tones, as well as long knit dresses and striped track pants. The overall color scheme was overall kept to neutrals and earthy hues, with pops of brighter hues deliverd in prints and embellishments. The collection carried the very familiar athletic vibe that is usually associated with the brand, but with the addition of sleeker silhouettes and more metropolitan-appropriate shapes and colors.
The sportswear line stuck to a similar theme, adding pops of red in polo shirts, blouses, and v-neck sweaters. Lacoste Sport includes activewear pieces from tennis items to workout gear and loungewear. Lacoste L!VE takes inspiration from nature, ranging from nautical to mountainside and winter themes. The main focus is on warmth and protection from the elements – the line is complete with puffer jackets, mesh and wool knit sweaters, and camouflage parkas.
In accessories, the line of leather goods features both matte and metallic totes, as well as clutches, cross body bags, and belts in neutral tones and bright colors. Be sure to look out for these new collections for during the upcoming fall and winter seasons, and click through the slide show to get a peek at some of our favorite pieces.
Lacoste products are always available online and in retail stores throughout the country.

Ted Baker recently launched its new Spring/Summer 2016 collection, complete with fresh, sunny prints and ultra feminine silhouettes. Included are many new takes on spring florals, a staple of the brand, with many of the pieces carrying a lightweight and airy feel, almost giving the impression of a watercolor painting (see the Bathany Hanging Gardens Bodycon Dress, $295). More formal and sophisticated styles are also incorporated into the collection, found in the expertly-tailored jackets and delicately embroidered midi dresses. With a color palette of neutral tones and soft pastels, there’s a piece for everyone for virtually any occasion, day or night. Other seasonal staples include the Braylee Burnout Cropped Jumpsuit ($349), the Eiraat Textured Skinny Pants, and the Madey Double Breasted Trench Coat ($465).
Pops of brighter colors appear in the swimwear, which includes pieces in navy stripes and vibrant coral detailing (see the Cirana Striped Twist Bandeau Swimsuit, $129). In the accessories department, both leather loafers and printed strappy sandals make an impression, as well as handbags adorned with checker and flowered prints. Click through the slideshow to view FPD’s favorites from the Ted Baker for women collection. Prices range from $59-$1200, encompassing both clothing and accessories. The full collection is available now online and in select Ted Baker stores near you.

A Saks OFF 5TH location JUST opened up dangerously close to home…and I love it! Last week the best friend and I stopped by the space formerly used by legendary (and no longer) discounter Daffy’s, a subterranean cove revamped and stocked with luxury merchandise, ranging from gorgeous Alexis Bittar baubles to Hermès leather handbags, DVF silk dresses, and Versace sneakers. The shoe section was to-die-for, and the men’s assortment had great depth and breadth to it, along with being beyond well-organized. Of course the merchandise mix will always change, but now you can look forward to the special feature of Saks OFF 5TH locations offering a Gilt.com shop-in-shop, which will feature a weekly in-store flash sale every Wednesday at 12pm, EST. Plus, Saks OFF 5TH will accept Gilt returns in exchange for Saks OFF 5TH merchandise credit. I love the merging of an online favorite with a tremendous brick-and-mortar, on-brand, collab! If you’re in the area, stop by the store to experience the joy of discovering a coveted brand at a discounted price!
Saks OFF 5TH, 57th is located at 125 East 57th Street, between Lexington and Park Avenues in New York City; see website for store hours.
