Finding the balance between must-have, on-trend pieces that will also endure the test of time (er, fashion cycle) takes a special skill and intuition, which we recently viewed in the form of Erica Klein’s jewelry collections. With the right mix of style, materials, and a distinct aesthetic, Erica Klein of Erica Klein jewelry designs has managed to create eclectic fashionable pieces that tell a story, at accessible price points.

Aruna Seth Holiday 2012 Footwear Collection
[Click on the Aruna Seth images above to enlarge]
It’s amazing that shoes as gorgeous, luxurious, and comfortable as these exist – and if you haven’t yet heard of Aruna Seth — hand’s down, it’s time to add a pair of her shoes to your footwear bucket list. The eponymous label, based in London, has gained recognition world wide with her bridal line picking up steam in the U.S. Her signature Cerise wedge style, her very first style created Ms. Seth told me at a recent press preview, has done quite well and is certainly the most elegant wedge I’ve ever seen! The Made in Italy label goes beyond bridal and wedges, however. Aruna really does it all with aplomb, from delicate flats to ornamental pumps in varying lengths, booties, boots, sandals, and more. Some of the most stunning styles include a striping or all-over application of Swarovski crystals, a process, Aruna shared, is done all by-hand.
Since I’ve been eyeing the brand’s Bridal wedges ever since spotting them at Gabriella New York in March, I had the thrill of consulting with Aruna over which pair to wear with my wedding dress! I’m particularly loving the Kimberley, Maria, Colette, and Cerise. More to come soon — I don’t know how I’m ever going to choose one pair; I love them all!
See the slideshow above for some of our favorite new styles for holiday 2012, including some of her most recent works — the Aruna Seth black Swarovski wedges covered in over 3,000 crystals and the colours and rings inspired by the Olympic symbol..and the ode to great Britain-hued Swarovski Cerise wedges. Enjoy!

TOMS New Fall 2012 Collection Has Launched!
TOMS has quickly become a household name, thanks in part to their signature unisex espadrille-style flat classics, but the new additions this fall are sure to gain acclaim. You’ll find yourself walking through the city streets, grocery store, or office with grace and peace of mind once you slip your feet into the new Desert Wedges, Tomboy Boots and (you guessed it) the spruced up classics in corduroy, alongside new colors and prints.
[Taupe Suede Women’s Desert Wedge, $89]
This fashionable closed toe wedge is ideal for the girl on the go. At $89, you may not have to choose between black, chestnut, and — my personal preference — the taupe, pictured above.
[Kilim Women’s Classic, $54]
The natural shades of foliage in this classic style are reminiscent of a Navajo print or kilim rug, and simply eye catching! Don’t you adore the wool blend inspired by South African textiles? I’m loving this online exclusive pair too! Effortless slipping them on-and-off and durable, these are sure to be a fall staple.
[Black Suede Women’s Tomboy Boot, $99]
Pining for boots? TOMS has you covered. Part tomboy, part military, these boots are tough enough to get you through the colder months.
Remember, with TOMS, it’s “one for one.” Every pair you purchase helps a child in need — a good incentive to get a new pair of shoes (or eyewear, or clothing, as the brand has now expanded its offerings).
