When it comes to my hair, I must admit that I am not the most inventive with my everyday look. Aside from brushing it out of my face every morning, there is not much attention I give to my locks. So when I got the chance to have a styling session from blow, the new york blow dry bar using its newest product,   I was more than a little excited about seeing what blow’s  genius stylists would do with my thick head of hair.

The results, of course, did not disappoint; my stylist introduced me to Textstyle Dry Texture Spray, a from its newest line of texture series products. This powerful little spray is the perfect finishing touch to any dry style and helps to achieve the perfect texturized look, from soft waves to french ponytails or to refresh your already blown out look. The lightweight formula won’t leave behind any greasy residue or flakes and is long lasting so that your style can be recreated the very next day. After my session was over, I left with a pinned braided “blowfish” style with soft to the touch  hair, instead of the traditional “crunch” feel that I’ve experienced with other products. Paint A Scent by See by Chloé Shows A Brand New Way to Apply Your Fragrance!

Hydrate, Protect, and Freshen Up for Fall with These Beauty Must-Haves

Summer is DEFINITELY my favorite season, but it can certainly wreak havoc on skin and hair! Exposure to the elements, be it warm, mild, or cold will effect the way your skin and hair looks and performs, so before the weather turns to full-on winter coat season, start to prepare yourself this fall with some beauty products and tools. THE BROWSHOP at completely bare Launches This Month!

I’ve been a patron of completey bare‘s waxing services for a number of years, and was thrilled to hear about, and try, their dedicated servies to all things eyebrow-related. THE BROWSHOP, a collaboration between celeb eyebrow stylist Joey Healy and completely bare founder Cindy Barshop, offers brow grooming via highly trained specialists dedicated to brows only, which this September, became available at its Bond Street and Fifth Avenue locations.

Joey Healy, whose clients include Kyra Sedgwick, Bethany Frankel, and Bebe Neuwirth, created THE BROWSHOP Calibration, which is a tool similar to those rulers used in the geometry, for his specialists to handle and execute the perfect brows for each individual client. Clients can choose from one of three options: Eyebrow Shaping ($55), Eyebrow Tinting ($35), or Eyebrow Blueprint ($75), to achieve a finished look that includes trimming, tweezing, and setting with powder, or pencils (called Stylos at completely bare), walking away with an Eyebrow Calibration Card that mimics each individual’s design with easy, with alphabetical points to follow for careful AND carefree upkeep and follow-along between appointments (see below).
