We all have good intentions when it comes to gift-giving, but sometimes time just slips away and you find yourself only a few days out from the big occasion and scrambling! As a new parent, I’ve found that Target has rapidly become my end all, be-all, and shopping for special gifts is no exception. It really has everything! I’ve pulled my top gifts for dad from the retailer that you have grown to love and trust, and conveniently has tons of locations so that you don’t need to nervously wait for something to arrive in the mail by Saturday. See below for my top Target pics for dad, which range from apparel and accessories to grooming and gadgets.
1) Duke Cannon does such a nice job with its product line, producing quality items with catchy slogans and graphics in cool packaging. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds benefit U.S. Veterans. Spoil dad with the Father of the Year Shave Kit (it includes the brand’s awesome lip balm) or the News Anchor 2-in-1 Hair Wash in Tea Tree Formula.
2) Rebels Refinery is another great ‘cool dad’ brand that makes handy dandy products that dad is sure to get a lot of use out of such as the Dirty Boy Bamboo Wipes, perfect for his gym bag, or the Rebels Refinery Wealth of Man Organic Oil Bar Soap, which already comes hand-wrapped in a twine and wax-sealed package (hint: no wrapping required!).

Slides are certainly incredibly reminiscent of my middle school years, and unlike other trends from that era, I’m actually glad that they are making a strong comeback. Come to think of it, we called them ‘shower sandals,’ and there wasn’t much fashion involved; the look was relatively utilitarian, and sport brands, such as Nike and Adidas, produced the coolest offerings with their name, swoosh mark, or stripes plastered across them. The style has certainly evolved in 2018, and today there are a variety of fabric and adornment options to choose from that will encourage you to include several pairs in your shoe collection. See the section below for the seven pairs that are on my bucket list!

Being a new mom, I need a deodorant/antiperspirant combination that is so effective I can put it on and never think about it for the rest of the day. That includes moving through numerous outfit changes without leaving behind any white marks/residue. One of Dove’s latest dry spray antiperspirant products zeroes in on just that, preventing that annoying rub off into garments which can prove to be embarrassing if seen on the outside. Now available in the four fragrances of Sheer Cool, Crystal Touch, Clear Finish and Sheer Finish, you can rest assured that one of these scents will become a favorite, downright refusing to mar your clothing with a white deodorant gash, leaving no marks on 100 colors of clothing!
Currently available at mass grocery and drug retailers nationwide, the sprays retail for about $5.49 each.

My hair has been through a LOT this past year thanks to depositing color, pregnancy, hormones, and a gene ral lack of being on a good, healthy diet and restful nights of sleep. Needless to say, my hair needed a little help. The latest line from Frédéric Fekkai, The One, boasts targeted formulas for a variety of hair needs, and The Uplifting One Collection Volumizing Shampoo & Conditioner couldn’t be more on target if you have coloured and limp, lifeless hair, like mine. Sea-sourced ingredients such as South Sea Blue Seaweed Extract remarkably work to provide thickness and lift, while the formulas are safe for color-treated hair, contain an UV filter, and are paraben and sulfate free. You’ll get the results of salon-shampooed tresses from the comfort of your own home. Plus, aren’t these bottles just gorgeous?
The One by Frédéric Fekkai The Uplifting One Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $30 each at Ulta.com and Ulta Beauty locations nationwide.
