This past week I was able to check out the latest styles from Aerosoles for the upcoming spring collection at the lovely Blow Bar Meat Packing District location, which meant three things: blow outs, manicures, and new shoes — what’s not to love? Already in stores and online, you can begin to think about days where the temperatures breaches above 60 degrees, which may just be right around the corner, or get yourself a pair of new sandals and book a tropical getaway to stave off the warm-weather cravings. As an Aerosoles brand ambassador, I am so fortunate to try out some of these styles first-hand and share with you my edits on the most comfortable, stylish, and affordable shoes around. See above for my top picks, including the Plush Money Wedge, Wide Awake Peep-Toe Pump, and the Solitaire Canvas Espadrille!

MoMA Design Store Top Picks for 2013
MoMA Design Store, the retail component to the Museum of Modern Art here in NYC ALWAYS has the coolest stuff. From décor to tabletop and even apparel and jewelry, you can bet that the products offer thoughtful design, oftentimes coupled with cutting edge technology, materials, and innovations. I recently attended a press preview to taken in the upcoming items, and was impressed by the array of jewelry and apparel offerings, as well as the Manhattan-centric Destination: NYC collection– available May 15th, featuring varied pieces from local artists, including one of my faves, Alexis Bittar.
Some of my favorites are in the slideshow above, which you can all shop now at MoMAStore.org (but you still have to wait for the Destination: NYC collection)! Plus, if you’re a fan of the products and are getting married, you can easily set up a registry there!

Pureology Saves My Haircolor with the Reviving Red System
I recently tested Pureology‘s new Reviving Red system, which is comprised of concentrated oil-infused formulas to prevent bleeding and fading; something that I am certainly concerned with as a new redhead. I’ve tested the entire product line, which include protective Jaljala, coconut, olive and sunflower oils, as well as exclusive Oleo Antifade Complex and Lycopene extract to help prevent colour fading. I love love love these products!
The Reviving Red Shamp’oil coupled with the Reviving Red Reflective Conditioner keep up a daily shine and vibrancy, while the Illuminating Caring Oil seals the hair shaft to seal in the shade. once-a-week tiny Red Reflect Enhancer (also available for copper shades) ampule deposits color so that I can increase the longevity of my current dye job, and save money in the process. After several comments from friends in the beauty industry about how amazing my color is looking, even several weeks after the initial dye, I know that these products are WORKING it for me!

Soooo gorgeous, right? At Clover Canyon, lead makeup artist Deanna Melluso for Kevyn Aucoin created a “Russian ballerina ice princess” aesthetic that aws just utterly gorgeous. She started off with the brand’s Sensual Skin Tinted Balm coupled with Celestial Powder in Candlelight to give the cheekbones a slightly ethereal glow. The lips were kept pretty bare and matte, while the eyes got the royal treatment of Snow eyeshadow all over the lid and in the tearducts, finishing off with curling the lashes and Volume & Curling Mascara just to the top lashes — stunning!
