In the scheme of things, stylish shoes can be a dime a dozen. Don’t get me wrong- I love having amazing shoes and options, but have also had to part with many pairs before their prime, just because they totally KILL my feet. In Manhattan, your feet are your wheels, so why willingly abuse them? Courtesy of Aerosoles, I was able to pick out a pair of shoes from the new fall collection, and after seeing these Aerosoles Date Plum Suede Black Wedges, ($89.99, was $99.99), I knew they would look rockin’ with practically everything in my wardrobe.
The wedge isn’t terribly steep and the sueded sock and lining along with the diamond flex sole provide comfort when I’m hitting the pavement walking blocks at a time or merely running around the office. With any kind of suede shoe, it’s always important to remember to use a spray to protect them prior to use-I just used the Kiwi Protect All Shoe Spray, which seems to do the trick!

I’ve got my eye on a pair of Aerosoles boots. Look, the way I see it, comfort has to come first for me–I’ve had foot/ankle surgery and I’m NOT going there again. And I think Aerosoles does a great job of combining style/price/comfort. Maybe not if you’re 25 and rich, but, hey–I’m neither of those things!!
