With so many great designers and styles on board, I can pretty much guarantee that there’s at least one item that you won’t be able to resist buying for yourself, come Holiday 2011. If you haven’t checked out QVC‘s website, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the long list of brand names and designer offerings, including Isaac Mizrahi Live, Rachel Zoe, Spanx, Mally, Via Spiga, Clarks, M by Marc Bouwer, and coming for holiday — Dooney & Bourke! Recently on my radar and quickly rising the ranks of my obsessions is Stewart + Brown. This ethical fashion brand launched in 2002 in L.A., California. According to the website, “inspired by their love and respect for nature and a passion for design, Karen [Stewart] and Howard [Brown] were filled with a sense of purpose and determined to pioneer the sustainable fashion movement.”
Stewart +Brown designs use only organic cotton and green fabrics. All pieces are made from renewable fibers, sustainably harvested and cultivated without the use of herbicides, pesticides or defoliant. Plus, the fibers themselves are naturally resilient and biodegradable!
Influenced by classic films from the 1930s and 40s and the “classic American movie start style,” Norma Kamali introduced the iconic Bill swimsuit decades ago. A feminine skirted silhouette with a sweetheart halter neckline with ruching is flattering on every body type. The chic, fun, and elegant retro style is here to stay. Who said you have to wear a two-piece to be sexy?
