This past Monday, June 22nd, 13 fashion writers/bloggers/editors/entrepreneurs/extraordinary women got together for a Style Coalition video campaign that will be released in the next weeks, so stay tuned! I promised to keep my lips sealed on the project’s details, but just know that it is going to be HUGE! I was honored to participate, along with these fabulous other sites:
The Style Observer
The Daily Obsession
Second City Style
StyleBakery
Running with Heels
The Jet Set Girls
Felicia Sullivan
SheFinds
Eye4Style
StyleIt
Gala Darling
MyItThings
A special thanks goes out to DEX New York for hosting the event and providing us with amazing hair and makeup! I’d like to personally thank Naomi Porto for giving my hair the right amount of volume and texture, and Altjana Banja for my lovely face and confirming that I can wear 2 shades of blue eyeshadow and look amazing. Also thanks to Thomas Cantley for the beautiful photos. Below is a sampling of “before” and “after” photos from the shoot — enjoy!

Here’s me (Julia) in my favorite boyfriend jeans and beater, transformed into a lovely mademoiselle in a vintage Sonia Rykiel floral dress.
