Tiffany 2011 New Collection Favorites
The Tiffany Peacock pendant (pictured above) features an oval tanzanite, cuperian elbaite tourmalines, and diamonds in platinum — it was definitely the show piece of the night and a blogger favorite from the Tiffany & Co 2011 preview! However, there were many more pieces that were truly so unique and displayed the signature artisan designs and heritage of Tiffany that if I had the opportunity to buy them all — I would! The mood was also set by the ingenious artisan workshop display (see last two photos) which gave us an insider’s view into the world of fine jewelry-making.
Favorites from the collection included the Elsa Peretti bottle pendants and hand painted watercolor Torque bangles in bone China by Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Co. The Tiffany diamond bracelets were sparkling with the highest shine wattage I’ve ever seen, while the silver bangle bracelets with lock details could easily flow with anything in my wardrobe . Which of these pictured is your favorite?

No One Knows What Makes Love True Better than Tiffany
[Photos courtesy of Craig Arend]
Living in New York City for almost 12 years, I feel that at this point I have a pretty good grasp on the city’s trappings, haunts, and ‘hidden spots.’ I am really glad to share, however, that Tiffany & Co. reminded me how lucky I am to live here, and that there is always more to discover, starting with their 37 Wall Street location that I didn’t even know existed!
After an intimate reception at the store, where bubbly and diamonds seemed to go hand in hand, we were given Bloggie videocams courtesy of Tiffany & Co to record the night’s experiences as we boarded a luxe mini bus and stopped at two surprise destinations (click here to check out the video I made in the store with my Bloggie).

What FPD Has Been Up to Lately: Tiffany & Co Eyewear, Ralph Lauren Pink Pony, Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Lat night I attended the launch (along with Blake Lively) of the newest collection for Tiffany and Co. Eyewear, featuring the Iconic Tiffany Keys found on the arms of a variety of eye and sunwear both in 18 karat gold and lathered with crystals. Eyewear and sunwear was additionally adorned with the Tiffany Embrace engagement ring setting, the Signature “X” and heart designs, and some even in the hard to miss hue of Tiffany Blue® . The option is available to get prescription lenses put into most of the sunglasses, for those of you (like me) that are cursed with wearing glasses at all times!
Lauren Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Event at Lord & Taylor (and some merch you can get to support the cause)
Last night I also stopped at Lord & Taylor in support of the Pink Pony Fund for the launch of Lauren Pink, a line of apparel and home products with 10% of the sale of the Lauren Pink products will be donated to the Pink Pony Fund of the Polo Ralph Lauren foundation. There also was a ‘scavenger hunt’ throughout the store based on Lauren Ralph Lauren, with the prize being a candle from the collection. Above are a few of my favorite items from the collection. If you haven’t seen the post yet, check out the 100 Bloggers Unite to Fight Against Cancer Campaign, featuring me!
Estee Lauder Companies’ Take the Pledge Blogger Event to kickoff their Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
Elizabeth Hurley made an appearance at this Estee Lauder event, hosted at Bloomingdales. At the event Evelyn Lauder and Liz Hurley signed limited edition products with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You can submit your video pledge and upload it (as well as make a donation); there was a video booth set up at the store to do it on the spot!
