Nicole Miller‘s Resort 2013 collection is a hodge podge of gorgeous prints, textures, and colors; all complimented with an ultra-chic, metropolitan vibe. Dip dye, structured jackets, Hawaiian print, asymmetrical hems, ikat-inspired designs — Miller does it all this season, and with aplomb. Nicole Miller’s Spring 2011 Collection was in two words, effortlessly elegant, just as we expected. While the broad-shouldered jackets gave her collection an exciting edge, the silk and chiffon fabrics in delicate neutrals created an airiness that was so quintessentially “Nicole.” The subtle details made each garment feel sexy and chic, while pleats, sequins, and dangling strips of fabric were used in fresh, innovative ways, and gradient hues enhanced the artfully arranged fabrications. The layering and draping of the flowing material was truly breathtaking, giving the collection a majestic charm.

Nicolle Miller’s fall/winter 2010 lady channels the power of black – its power dressing reborn, with strong, feminine silhouettes executed with amazing draping, contrasting texture combinations, cut-outs, lotsa layers, a dash of fur, metallics, and embroidery. It’s still the same Nicole Miller woman that’s coveting her clothes, however she now needs that dress to extend its life beyond one season, and keep it perennially in her closet for both the fall and the spring, with practically each piece being dubbed as a ‘staple’. Kudos to Nicole Miller, for being realistic about what women these days want!
