To the naked eye it might seem like just an ordinary bottle of nail polish, but is actually a 5-in-1 package: base coat, growth treatment, strengthener, color, and top coat. And by color, we mean there are 42 to choose from. To put it to the test I invited my friend, Rena – a much more avid fan of nail polish than I am – to try it out on her fingers. According to her, the wider and flatter brush also made the nail polish much easier to apply. The nail polish dried quickly, and there weren’t any clumps.
Sometimes, it is not just a matter of time, but also one of skill. My ability to apply nail polish, for example, evokes the mess I once called art in drawing classes I took in high school. Hence, my gratitude to Sally Hansen’s Color Quick Chrome Nail Color Pens. It works the way its name suggests: simply by “clicking” it the way you “click” a pen, the right amount of color is dispensed onto the brush, with which you then apply your nail polish. Yes, putting on your nail polish can literally be a “click” away.
So you’ve now got ten impeccable nails – now keep them that way. Another on-the-go product is the 14-day Nail Shield, a set of pre-treated sheer color strips that instantly stick to your nails for protection and strength. I’ve tried them on myself, and despite my clumsiness, each strip took me only one second. It’s as simple as peeling, sticking and pulling the unused end off.
You’ve now got lasting, perfect nails, so let’s move on to another delicate part of your body – your lips. Many of us have had the experience of waking up with severely chapped lips. To maximize lip moisture, Sally Hansen has developed a new line of lip care products. The Overnight Lip Recovery, for example, revitalizes your lips while the PM Lip Plumper traps moisture to make your lips seem fuller.
On top of everything I’ve mentioned, the cutest product I saw at the preview was the Insta-Smooth Pods Creme Hair Remover for Face. Designed so that your hands won’t have to touch the hair remover cream at all, these pods only ask for your effort to bend them. That’s it: bend it, and the cream comes out from the soft pads on the other side. These individual-use pods are good for last-minute touch-ups and traveling – in short, good for anyone constantly on the road, busy around the clock, or just anyone who wants to keep their hands clean!
