H. H. Brown Footwear for Spring 2013

Visiting the showroom at H.H. Brown recently, I made a mental ‘wanted’ list of every style that I must have for spring from the company’s brands, including Børn, Söft, Kork-Ease, Walk-Over Shoes, Vintage Shoe Company, and Isolá. Which style is your favorite? Too bad we have to wait until the spring merchandise rolls out to buy these amazing styles, but it will well-indeed be worth the wait! I’m most excited about the new Made in America embellished wedge styles by Kork-Ease, and the new women’s offerings from Vintage and Walk-Over. See some of my favorites via the slideshow above .

The Isola Oasis Wedge In South Beach

You may recall the “Pick My Isola South Beach Shoes” giveaway, about three weeks ago, with the winning style being the Oasis Wedge. Thanks to all of you who weighed in, as this wedge was absolutely PERFECT for walking around South Beach! I literally walked miles in them, and loved the textured pattern in ivory, as it was just made for the constantly warm South Florida weather. I had to ditch the previously worn fishnet tights, as I really didn’t need them in 90 degree weather. Pick My Isola South Beach Shoes: And the Winner is…

Thanks again for all of your help with picking my pair of shoes for South Beach! The most popular style, by far, was Style #3: Oasis Wedge , followed by Style #1: Ivalee T-Strap Heels and in third place Style #2:Alda Snakeskin Gladiators.

Pick My South Beach Shoes, & Win a Pair for Yourself Courtesy of Isola!

Fashion Pulse Daily readers, I need your help (and there’s something in it for you too)! Here’s the deal: I’m heading to South Beach in April, for the very first time with my best friend for a girl’s getaway. The dilemma: I’ve never been there before and I hear that it can be very dressy. Since it is snowing in New York today, just as “spring” officially starts and I can’t even remember the last time I put on a pair of cute sandals, I need your help to pick the perfect style for me.

Whichever style gets the most votes I will wear to South Beach, AND one lucky entrant will also get the same pair! Below are two of the dresses I am packing, and three footwear styles from Isolá, one of my new favorite brands that emphasize both style and comfort. See below for the official RULES OF ENTRY, but all you do is just look at my dresses, pick one of the three Isolá styles for me, write which one in the comment section, and EITHER “Like” Isola on Facebook or follow @IsolaFootwear on Twitter, letting me know which one of those you did as well. That’s it! Just pick a style (1,2,or 3) and if you are so inclined to also decide what color within that specific style I should wear, go for it (but not necessary). La Bella Isola

Gosh these shoes are gorgeous! Have you ever gravitated toward something in a store that was just so intrinsically you? Like it was made specifically for you, and you alone? Well, that is how I feel about the Isola Odema Colorblocked Peep-Toe Heels, $169 , although I encourage you to get a pair as well! The color blocking is done perfectly, and although it is hard to tell from the photos, the bluish purple heel is actually inlaid, so it goes in a bit to create a very unique shape and structure that gives it a dash of avant guarde appeal. I’ve paired them with a few different lbds as they really pop against all black, but can also envision them looking sharp with skinny jeans, metallic, or a bodycon dress that matches the pink or blue exactly, like this one by Forever21.
