They’re at it again! H&M recently announced their design collaboration for Autumn/Winter 2012 with avant-garde, experimental, and sought-after Maison Martin Margiela. The French fashion house believes strongly in creativity and has become a brand that colors outside the lines, so to speak. This radical collaboration will really give fashion thrill-seekers the opportunity to wear memorable, unconventional pieces.
The exclusive collection will redefine volume, craft shapes and move classic garments into a work of art. For those who love to defy expectations, this collection will capture your soul. The collection values ambiguity and conceptual style, with a “fashion for all” philosophy behind the work. The garments and accessories for men and women will be available as of November 15th, 2012 online and in stores worldwide.
Merci, H&M!

Knitwear, Color, and Sequins Galore at Sonia Rykiel for H&M preview

Michelle Williams

Chanel Iman dee'jayed the party

Leighton Meester, Kelly Rutherford, & Nathalie Rykiel

It was most certainly a star-studded affair, and we were so glad to be part of it! The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M launches the weekend after New York Fashion Week, February 20th, and you better believe we will be there! The clothes were absolutely stunning at the collection preview; completely in line with the Rykiel signature looks and the fabrication of the garments felt right. Fashion Pulse Daily is convinced these pieces could pass for the signature line, and naturally, that’s the was Madame Rykiel would only have it.

Another designer collaboration with H&M is on its way! This time, Mathew Williamson has created a peacock-inspired collection in a price range from $49-$349. April 23rd is the launch date for the collection in only 200 locations, but comeMay 14th, a womens and mens location will roll out to all H&M stores, a first for their designer collaboration projects. I loved Mathew Williamson’s eponymour label, and the work he did at Pucci, so you can be sure I am going to zipping around the flagship Fifth Avenue store on April 23rd! Stay tuned for more info!
