Yigal Azrouel:
Super soft knits, futuristic batwing-sleeve dresses, and leather pailettes dresses and skirts made up a strong collection.
BCBG MaxAzria:
Slinky was the word du jour, with heavily draped layers of jersey and silk in mostly muted hues.
Abaete:
Loved the Abaete for paylesrs heels and ankle boots draped heavily with chains – the clothes too reflected the chained motif, along with wide ruffles, jaquard, and a bit of metallics.
Davidelfin;
Androgyny was defined anew, with men donning high-waisted pants with a corset-like aesthetic, see through pants, and (my favorite) a blazer that instead of buttons, had a zipper closure.
Charlotte Ronson:
Despite the Lindsay Lohan media circus, this was one of Charlotte’s strongest collections to date, with a heavy dose of leather and unusual detailing like elbow and back slits built into tops and jackets.
University of Art:
There’s no doubt that these students are incredibly talented, with carefully engineered prints on oversized sweaters and coats being the showstoppers.
Jason Wu:
It’s nice to see that Jason Wu catered to all women, and not just the first lady in his runway collection, with a great selection of wonderful dresses, complete with incredible prints.
