Animal prints, exotic skins, and renderings are very very hot right now, so it only makes sense that this trend trickles down, literally, to footwear! This week I spent a lovely afternoon with David Bromstad (artist, interior designer, TV personality), celebrating his Bromstad for Naturalizer fall 2014 collection, featuring a mix of cheetah, snow leopard, python, and zebra prints on shoes, handbags, and scarves for the brand. Available now, the footwear ranges from $99-$179, while the scarves and handbags come in at $36 and $119 respectively.
The items were envisioned by garnering inspiration from an original painting created by Bromstad exclusively for the brand that incorporates multiple animal prints in a linear fashion onto canvas (see a portion of it, here).
Courtesy of the brand, I’ve been wearing the Bromstad Tanya (pictured above, left), a gorgeous bootie that features sleek leather on the front, with a cheetah print adorning the heel with N5 Comfort Elements for added cushion, support, and sole flexibility. Some additional styles are featured up top in the collage of the ones I would absolutely love to wear; which one is your favorite?
You can shop the line now at Naturalizer stores, online at Naturalizer.com, and at select retailers nationwide
