Anything that comes my way that is coconut…I feel like I can’t live without. This obsession is most definitely a current one, kicking off in 2013 during my honeymoon in Hawaii, and going pretty strong to-date. Coconut yogurt, Popsicles, smoothies water, infused beverages, cooking oil, soap, face cream, lotion…you name it; if it has coconut in it, I’m bound to be obsessed! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I glanced at the new offerings from AVEENO, and most certainly did a triple take at the label. The new AVEENO Skin Relief Gentle Scent Collection boasts two options – soothing oat and chamomile, and nourishing coconut, that fulfill expectations for the brand by including Active Naturals Triple Oat Complex, are dye-free and allergy-tested, while also being as safe to use on sensitive skin as fragrance-free formulations. What’s not to love about that? Washing without drying out the skin is a special balance, and AVEENO certainly does it well. I do like the fragrance free / original formulation, but given the opportunity to use a coconut scent version…I think you know what I would do!
